Dr. Anna Streitz is originally from northern Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon where she studied Biology and Biochemistry. Her love for veterinary medicine began in the Pacific Northwest, when she started working at a fast-paced emergency and referral hospital following graduation. She moved back home for veterinary school, and received her DVM from the University of Minnesota. She completed her one-year small animal medicine and surgery internship at WestVet Emergency and Specialty Center in Boise, Idaho. She then stayed on as an emergency clinician. Anna moved to Maine with her husband and joined the Port City team in 2024.  Anna enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband, or relaxing at home reading with their two dogs and three cats.
