Dr. Courtney James received her veterinary degree from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She then completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Referral Hospital in Red Bank, New Jersey in 2012. She briefly worked as an emergency clinician in Nashua, New Hampshire prior to joining Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital in 2013.

When not working she enjoys playing soccer and field hockey and spending time with her husband, two dogs, and three cats. Courtney is a huge professional soccer fan, and her favorite team is Liverpool in the English Premier League.
