Dr. Leslie Mitchell is originally from Georgia and received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Emory University. After starting a family, she pursued her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University, followed by a rotating internship in Chicago. She then completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Michigan State University.

While she enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, she has a particular interest in gastrointestinal disorders and airway diseases.

When not working, Dr. Mitchell enjoys spending time with her family, partaking in outdoor activities, reading, and spending time with her dog, Noodle.
