Dr. Maegan Watson-Skaggs (Dr. Watson) is a Louisiana native who brings a warm touch and cutting-edge expertise to veterinary radiation oncology. After graduating from Louisiana State University, she embarked on a focused journey through internships at Auburn University, LSU, and BluePearl, ultimately achieving board certification in Radiation Oncology following her residency at North Carolina State University.
Dr. Watson is driven by a passion for enhancing the quality of life for pets facing cancer, utilizing the latest advancements to extend their time with their loving families while minimizing side effects. After beginning her career in sunny Southern California, she's now excited to bring her expertise and compassionate approach to New Hampshire, expanding access to advanced radiation oncology services for the region's beloved pets.
When she's not at work, Dr. Watson's time is filled with her husband, teenage stepdaughter, and baby son. Together, they love the challenge of an immersive escape room and Marvel movies. An avid reader, she is a big fan of Elin Hilderbrand's novels. Their home is completed by a golden retriever and two cats.
