Dr. Vezzi grew up in the Adirondack region of New York. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science in animal science from the University of Rhode Island before attending veterinary school at The Ohio State University (go Bucks!). Dr. Vezzi then went on to complete a one-year rotating internship at the Veterinary Medical Center of Central New York in Syracuse, NY, followed by a three year emergency and critical care residency at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. She obtained board certification in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2022. Dr. Vezzi's professional interests include sepsis, shock, infectious and immune mediated diseases, toxicities, and transfusion therapy. When she is not working, Dr. Vezzi enjoys spending time with her 3 corgis, traveling, hiking, paddleboarding, doing CrossFit, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, attending sporting events, and reading.
