Dr. Rachel Orlowski's journey in veterinary medicine began at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she earned her Bachelor's in Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She then pursued her veterinary studies at the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada.

After completing her studies, Dr. Orlowski embarked on a diverse career path. She spent time working in Burlington, VT, where she undertook a rotating emergency internship and then continued on to gain experience in both emergency medicine and general veterinary practice. Recently, she decided to transition  from her role as Medical Director to a full-time position at Port City, driven by her passion for animal care.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Orlowski is deeply committed to education, regularly volunteering her time to teach veterinary students. She also serves as the board chair on the state board of veterinarians, where she advocates for the profession and animal welfare.

Dr. Orlowski's story is one of dedication and service, highlighting her commitment to caring for animals and shaping the future of veterinary medicine.
